Abhijit, a law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, has over 12 (twelve) years of experience in the legal field and has worked with various renowned names in the legal sector. His broad spectrum of experience includes practice in various courts, tribunals, commissions, judicial and quasi-judicial authorities across the country.

Abhijit has an established track record in litigation and arbitration and has also represented various clients in international commercial arbitrations. His clientele includes various private sector entities, government entities, non-government bodies, and foreign entities.

Intriguingly, his interest in building businesses made him manage and run a law firm for over 7 (seven) years before he started to build Legal Scriptures.

Work Highlights

  1. Represented and argued for a reputed automobile company based out of the United States of America in an international commercial arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Singapore.
  2. Represented several medical colleges so as to get them recognized as Ayurvedic Colleges, based on the doctrine of substantial compliance, wherein their applications had been rejected on technical grounds.
  3. Represented several senior management employees of Fortune 500 companies and secured quashing/stay orders for them under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
  4. Represented a leading entity in the Oil & Gas industry in relation to a matter pertaining to the quashing of an order passed by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, thereby clarifying the meaning of ‘City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Network’ and ‘piped natural gas’ under the provisions of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 and related regulations.
  5. Representing leading infrastructure entities in the Telecom and Water & Gas Meter Industries in several arbitral proceedings.
  6. Previously empanelled as a government pleader for the Government of India at the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and handled various high-stake litigations during such period.

Anukalp, is a partner at Legal Scriptures and is rigorously building it. A graduate of Amity Law School, Delhi, and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, Anukalp has spent over 7 (seven) years gathering experience in the legal field. He has carved out a niche in white-collar crimes, commercial litigation, consumer laws and labour laws.

Anukalp has a keen interest  and an in-depth understanding of criminal laws, information technology, socio-economic offences, taxation laws, and intellectual property laws. He has hands-on experience in litigation, arbitration, and advisory.

Anukalp has advised and represented varied renowned corporate houses, international organizations, public sector undertakings, and central government departments.

Interestingly, he is also a panel counsel at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India for the Government of India and a government pleader at the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi for the Central Government. He has been handling cases pertaining to election laws and citizenship rights, amongst various others.

  1. Advised and represented the Government of India in Union of India & Ors v. Lieutenant General (Retired) S.K. Sahni.
  2. Advocated the State of NCT of Delhi through its Secretary in Knit Pro International v. State of NCT Of Delhi & Anr.
  3. Advised Union of India in the matter of Ins Exe Suman Kumar & Anr. v. Union of India regarding government employee-related issues.
  4. Assisted the Additional Solicitor General of India in an income tax matter at the Hon’ble High Court of Odisha, arising from the Shah Commission Report.
  5. Acted as Amicus Curiae in NCT of Delhi v. Pawan Kumar for the respondent at the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
  6. As a Panel Counsel for the Central Government in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, assisted the Solicitor General of India in Union of India v. Sanjiv Chaturvedi & Ors.
  7. As a Panel Counsel for Central Government in the Supreme Court, assisted the Additional Solicitor General of India in M/S Shree Vishnu Constructions v. The Engineer in Chief, Military Engineering Service & Ors.
